Note from Jake Jaxson:
When Andy Warhol was given one of the first portable video recorders for consumers -- to replace his iconic Polaroid camera -- he was in love from the start. At that time, he correctly predicted that everyday people (the consumers) would mostly use camcorders to make homemade pornos... if only he could see xTube now!
Today's update excites me because it was born from the creative New York spirit that I love, what drew me here, and what I'm even trying to reconnect to today. And it fits right in with that Warholian prediction of "every man's a pornographer!"
I gave our newest production team a camera, some lights, and our Williamsburg studios, and told them to bring back something fun, different, sexy and creatively their own.
They returned with "GoGo Harder" -- a look into the mind and pants of the famed NYC performer. This is going to be different than what you guys may be used to, and I hope you love it as much as I do. It has excited, inspired, and called me back to the streets that I loved to explore and want to reconnect to.
A couple nights ago, Hugo and I were wandering around Hell's Kitchen with a video camera trying to find hot guys who would shoot a porn for us. You'd think that bold exhibitionists would be a rare thing to come by, but we actually found lots of guys who love to show off and fuck on camera, so the issue then became all about finding the right guy.
Then we met GoGo Harder, a mysterious bad boy who is one of New York City's most prolific Boylesque dancers -- a type of performance art that's part striptease, part circus, part sex show. Basically, he's the male version of Burlesque... so of course we wanted to know more. He took us backstage at one of his shows and told us he was interested in outdoing himself as an artist by involving more hardcore sex into his act. So of course, we asked him to come back with us and show us what he had in mind!
"Under one condition," he said. "You let me be myself 100%."
What he did was unlike anything we'd ever seen before -- it was loud, sexy, erratic, and erotic -- and we had no choice but to create a scene for him that matched his sinister personality. We hope you'll enjoy GoGo's debut at CockyBoys as much as we enjoyed filming him.
